On Thursday, May 8, 2025, we will organize an information evening about the renovation of the Westerwoldse Aa bridge. The information evening will take place at the Dorpscentrum de Akkerschans in Bad Nieuweschans.
During the information evening, we will tell you more about the choice between a fixed or movable bridge. This is what we call the preferred variant. A7: Renovation Westerwoldse Aa Bridge
The Westerwoldse Aa Bridge is located on the A7 highway near Bad Nieuweschans. Parts of the bridge are due for replacement or renovation. Furthermore, we are investigating whether the bridge should remain movable or can be a fixed bridge. With the renovation, we ensure that the bridge can be used safely in the future.
