Starting Tuesday, February 10, 2026, Rijkswaterstaat will be featured weekly in the new series ‘Over the A4’. In ‘Over the A4’ you will see how various emergency services on one of the busiest highways in the Netherlands ensure safe and smooth traffic flow.
During the episodes, the focus is on the people who work day and night on and around the A4, including police, ANWB, tow trucks, pump operators, road inspectors, and traffic controllers from Rijkswaterstaat.
From stranded cars and emergency calls to incidents along the road: every report can lead to action within seconds.
Where and when to watch
The first episode airs on Tuesday, February 10 at 8:30 PM on RTL 5 and Videoland. Then, for seven weeks, a new episode will be broadcast every Tuesday.
