Due to great interest in July 2025, we invite everyone to a second, extra excursion along the new dike in Marken. A special insight into the practice of the dike reinforcement project. The excursion will take place on Friday afternoon, October 3, 2025.
What to Expect?
The visit starts on Friday, October 3, 2025, at 3:00 PM at the harbor office (Havenbuurt 7a) and lasts a maximum of two hours. We will walk a short distance to one of the test sections. On-site, we will explain how we have worked here, what the specifics are, and what lessons we have learned for the continuation of the project. The program is approximately the same as the previous excursion on July 9. If you participated in July, there is no added value in going again.
