The risk of dying from colorectal cancer decreased by 45 percent among those who participated in the colorectal cancer screening. This is evident from an evaluation of the screening by Erasmus MC on behalf of RIVM. Erasmus analyzed the outcomes of the screening from the start of the population screening in 2014 until now.
