In the recent Eurostars call, 35 Dutch organizations have been approved for 28 new Eurostars projects. With 28 projects, the Netherlands supports the largest number of projects among all Eurostars countries. In total, the winning projects represent over € 49 million in international R&D costs.

The 28 projects were selected by an international evaluation panel from a total of 699 applications, of which 135 included Dutch participants. The projects involve collaborations with partners from 15 different countries such as Spain (5 projects), Switzerland (5), and Germany (5), as well as partners from Estonia (2), Finland (1), and Canada (1).

International Collaboration

Eurostars encourages faster development and growth of innovative SMEs through international collaboration. The Ministry of Economic Affairs makes €22 million available annually for the Eurostars program, divided over 2 calls per year. The Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO) implements the program.

The new Eurostars call is now open internationally for applications, with a deadline on March 13, 2025, at 14:00.
