On Tuesday, October 28, 45 selected Dutch start-ups gathered for the official launch of the trade mission to CES (Consumer Electronic Show) in Las Vegas. During this pre-event in Amsterdam, the participants were introduced to the media.

Platform for Growth Companies

From January 6 to 9, 2026, the next Consumer Electronic Show (CES) will take place. Then 45 Dutch companies will join the trade mission to Las Vegas. At this tech fair, they will present their innovations to potential customers, investors, and partners. Worldwide, CES is the platform for innovative growth companies aiming to scale internationally.

CES 2025 attracted more than 142,000 participants, 6,000 journalists, and 4,500 exhibitors from over 161 countries and regions.

Kick-off Meeting

Rik Roeske (RVO) leads the mission to Las Vegas. Of course, we want to prepare participants well for this. That is why they follow a training program from the Ministry of Economic Affairs and the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO).

CES Unveiled is the kick-off meeting. Participants present their innovation to the press, tech experts, and investors. There are also panel discussions, led by among others Constantijn van Oranje, and a pitch battle. The winner receives extra exhibition space in our pavilion and other additional promotion.

Participating Companies

Innovative companies from across the country travel to CES. Such as Cyberette, which developed a method for detecting deep fakes to prevent digital fraud. Leyden Jar works on battery technology that extends the usage time of electronic devices and reduces CO2 emissions. And Ambyon builds a logistics robot for healthcare support in hospitals.

Roeske: CES increasingly focuses on innovations shaping our future, such as in artificial intelligence, healthcare, and cybersecurity.

Breaking Through Globally

The Netherlands is participating in CES for the 9th time. In recent years, hundreds of Dutch companies have presented their products or services at CES.

Roeske: For many companies, participation in CES was a breakthrough. In previous years, various agreements were made between Dutch participants and international companies. For example, last year SmartQare signed a contract with Philips for worldwide distribution. And Advanced Audio Labs made a deal with Renesas, a Japanese chip manufacturer.
