During 24 innovation missions in 14 different countries with 416 participants, each participant made an average of 20 new contacts in 2024. We look back on a successful period full of opportunities and collaboration.
An Innovation Mission is a journey with a select group of companies and knowledge institutions focusing on a particular sector or technology. Joining helps you meet the right foreign partners and discover opportunities for collaboration in innovation and technology. Innovation Mission Coordinator Tong Jiang looks back with pleasure: It was a very innovative year in which we, together with the innovation and agricultural attachés, worked hard to strengthen the innovation and earning capacity of the Netherlands.
Satisfied Participants
Participants rated the innovation missions with an average score of 8.4. The best-rated missions were the bio-input mission to Brazil and the semicon mission to Taiwan, both scoring 9.1. My key insights from the mission: fresh ideas, new inspiration, valuable knowledge sharing, and solutions to bottlenecks. By strengthening the dialogue between public and private parties, we all move forward, said a participant in the innovation mission to Switzerland on innovative therapies.
Participation in the mission was extremely valuable, both for research and business opportunities, especially in joint product development. It offered new possibilities for co-creation, where academic and industrial interests converge.
