A new subsidy scheme is coming that encourages cooperation among entrepreneurs in road transport. Cooperation among entrepreneurs makes transport more efficient and saves the number of kilometers that trucks drive. This means less CO2 emissions. Would you like to contribute your thoughts on this subsidy scheme? Please give your opinion in the internet consultation by June 29.
Plan for Fewer Truck Kilometers
With the subsidy, entrepreneurs receive money to implement a plan. This plan outlines how they can reduce truck kilometers by collaborating in the logistics chain. This helps achieve the Climate Agreements. Collaborating in road transport costs money, and the returns are uncertain. This subsidy reduces this risk. The Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO) will implement the Subsidy Scheme for Cooperation in the Logistics Chain (SiLK) for the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management.
