Many female entrepreneurs do not know which financing options are available or who to turn to for them, according to research by Code-V. Therefore, Code-V has developed the Funding Roadmap in collaboration with financiers and entrepreneurs. The goal: to guide female entrepreneurs through the financial landscape.

The 2025 Data Report from Code-V shows that only 13.7% of the €28.1 billion in financing goes to female entrepreneurs. Meanwhile, 38% of entrepreneurs in the Netherlands are women. Female entrepreneurs therefore consistently receive less financing.
Marianne Bruijn, Managing Director of Code-V: There is great growth potential that we can harness by raising awareness and making financing more accessible.

What is Code-V?

Code-V focuses on the female entrepreneur who needs financing to scale her business. This can be in the start-up phase, but also in later growth phases of the business, such as international expansion.

Help with suitable financing

The Code-V Funding Roadmap (a downloadable PDF) is a step towards equal access to financing. This tool helps women find suitable financing options. All affiliated public and private financiers are listed together in one clear overview, including their websites. Entrepreneurs can quickly see which financiers and financing forms match their growth needs and phase.

Examples of entrepreneurs

Additionally, the roadmap offers examples of entrepreneurs who have already secured financing per growth phase. At the back of the roadmap, complicated financial terms are simply explained. This way, every entrepreneur can better understand these concepts and confidently take the next step.
