On September 29, the kickoff took place with a group of Dutch companies and the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO) as part of the Partners for International Business (PIB) program. The business cluster will position itself in the coming years in the Japanese market for semiconductors, photonics, and quantum technology under the name Deeptech. You can still join them!
Japan is a technological leader with a strong focus on quality, innovation, and strategic collaboration. At the same time, successful business in Japan requires long-term relationships, local knowledge, and a good network.
Therefore, High Tech NL, in collaboration with RVO, has launched a Partners for International Business (PIB) program focused on Japan. This approach provides economies of scale, visibility, and access to relevant networks. By working together, they enhance the strength and international position of the Dutch high-tech sector.
What does the PIB program entail?
In a PIB program, a group (cluster) of Dutch companies enters into an agreement with RVO.
The PIB cluster Deeptech will position itself in the Japanese market for 3 years with, among other things:
- trade missions, including matchmaking and joint promotion;
- incoming visits;
- a representative on site;
- support from the Dutch embassy in Tokyo.
12 companies are already participating in this program: Astrape Networks, Axelera AI, Demcon High-tech systems, MECAL High-tech / Systems, MESA+ Institute University of Twente, Qblox, QphoX, TU Delft, QuiX Quantum, SCIL Nanoimprint Solutions, TEMPRESS, and TNO
PhotonDelta, QuantumDelta, Oost NL, BOM, and TU/Eindhoven are associated as partners.
