Successful Business from a PIB Cluster 

In addition to good market opportunities, you need long-term relationships, local knowledge, and a good network to successfully do business in Japan. Therefore, the Dutch sector association High Tech NL organizes a Partners for International Business (PIB) program focused on Japan. They do this in collaboration with the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO).

The goal of PIB clusters is to enter a foreign market with the combined strength of companies and governments. This way, we can position the Netherlands more strongly internationally.

PIB Cluster Deeptech to Japan 

The development of this PIB cluster was announced during The Hightech and Digitalization (HTDX) Conference, on May 22, 2025, at Expo Osaka. The PIB program Deeptech Japan will start in the fall of 2025.

The program provides good support to participating companies, including:

• trade missions
• strategic matchmaking
• joint promotion
• support from the Dutch embassy

The clustering provides economies of scale. It ensures greater visibility in the foreign market. And it provides access to important (foreign) networks. By collaborating, we increase our impact and strengthen the international position of the Dutch high-tech sector.
