Due to increasing outbreaks of lumpy skin disease (LSD) in France and Italy and the associated heightened threat level for LSD in the Netherlands, the College for the Registration of Plant Protection Products and Biocides (Ctgb) has compiled a current list of approved disinfectants against LSD.

In the authorization database of the Ctgb are disinfectants that may be used for the cleaning and disinfection (R&O) of animal transport vehicles and animal housing to prevent an outbreak of lumpy skin disease (LSD).

To simplify the search for disinfectants for animal transport and housing, the NVWA has published a current list on its website with all disinfectants approved by the Ctgb for LSD.

Note: this list was compiled by the Ctgb on the stated date and provides an indication of the possibly available means. Changes in approvals after this date are therefore not included. When using a product, the user must check whether the product is approved for the intended purpose.
