On May 29, 2025, the NVWA published a health warning from candy manufacturer HARIBO due to signals of possible cannabis presence in a batch of HARIBO candy. Based on the results of the investigation conducted by the Netherlands Forensic Institute (NFI), this warning can be withdrawn.
