The Netherlands Food and Consumer Product Safety Authority (NVWA) urges consumers not to use the slimming product My Lisaa. Research shows that this product contains several banned substances: sibutramine, sildenafil, and emodine. These substances pose serious health risks, such as palpitations, headaches, nausea, and vomiting. This product was offered on bol.com and through social media channels such as Instagram.
The substances sibutramine, sildenafil, and emodine are banned and can cause serious side effects, such as palpitations, headaches, nausea, and vomiting. The sale of this product on bol.com has been halted.
The slimming product My Lisaa is also offered on social media channels such as Instagram. The Instagram account promoting this product is being blocked by the NVWA. Additionally, shipments of this product are being stopped at the border by Customs.
Once again, we warn against slimming products that are available for sale online. Earlier this year, we warned about the brands Dynapills and Meri Capsules. Also, check our other warning messages about slimming products:
Consumers
The NVWA advises consumers not to purchase the slimming pills from My Lisaa and, if they already have them at home, not to use them. Consumers who still find such products on the Dutch market are asked to report this to us. If you have used any of these products and experienced side effects, consult a doctor. Side effects from these products can also be reported to Reporting Center Lareb.
The NVWA strongly advises consumers not to buy slimming products via social media.
