The Grote Kerk, the Raadhuisplein, and the observation tower in Berg & Bos in Donald Duck? During the spring break, Apeldoorn is the focus of a special edition of the weekly magazine. This will be celebrated festively on Wednesday, February 18, in Stadspark Berg & Bos, where child mayor Madalie and mayor Ton Heerts will receive the first copy at the tea house. There is also a fox hunt for children.

In the new story in this Apeldoorn edition, Donald Duck and his friends visit Apeldoorn and the Veluwe. The adventure features recognizable locations such as the Grote Kerk, the Raadhuisplein, and the observation tower in Berg & Bos. Typical Apeldoorn elements, such as Apeldoorn jokes, also appear in the story. For residents, it is a celebration of recognition; for young readers, a playful way to see their own city in a well-known weekly magazine.

Go on an adventure yourself: free fox hunt

After the presentation, a free fox hunt for children starts in Berg & Bos. The activity is co-organized by Apeldoorn scouting groups. Children go out as real woodsmen and solve assignments along the way in the park. Afterward, all participating children receive a copy of the special Apeldoorn edition of Donald Duck.
