The renovated Ruitersboslaan was officially opened on Saturday, February 21. With this milestone, the Municipality of Breda takes an important step towards its ambition as a National Park City. The street has not only undergone a green transformation but now also forms a crucial ecological connection between the nature areas north and south of Graaf Engelbertlaan. This marks Bredas first eco-duct.
The opening was conducted by alderman Peter Bakker, together with ecologists from the Municipality of Breda, who took interested Breda residents on an informative walk about the eco-duct.
