Do you know someone who deserves a royal honor?

Do you know someone who makes a special contribution to society? For example, for a (sports) club, volunteer work, or another valuable initiative? Then you can nominate this person for a royal honor.

Every April, the mayor annually awards royal honors to people with special merits. This takes place during the Royal Honors Ceremony, on the last working day before Kings Day.

First, contact the Cabinet Affairs employee of the municipality. Together you will see if the person has a chance of receiving an honor. You will also receive an explanation of which information is important and how to fill out the nomination form. More information can be found at www.deventer.nl/lintje.

If you want to nominate someone for the Royal Honors Ceremony in 2027, submit your proposal no later than June 1, 2026, to the mayor of Deventer.
