One of the main changes is the expansion of the personal contribution: asylum seekers with income or assets will contribute to their healthcare costs. They will also be expected to cook for themselves at the reception location, which contributes to independence.
In addition, the daily in-house registration will be enforced more strictly, and the rights and obligations discussion will carry more weight. Asylum seekers will now be clearly informed about the consequences of a negative decision.

The COA will carefully work out the measures in the coming period. The full letter can be found at Sober Asylum Reception | House of Representatives of the States-General
