The reconnaissance was led by Denmark. Several NATO allies, including the Netherlands, traveled to Greenland to explore options for a joint exercise (Arctic Endurance). The Dutch officers contributed both operational and logistical expertise. Preparatory work will continue in the coming period from Denmark and the Netherlands.
A larger deployment within NATO framework (Arctic Sentry) is a possible next step. Discussions within NATO will continue in the near future. The cabinet is positive about this.
