Last Meeting Day Before the Election Recess October 2, 2025 The House of Representatives meets on Thursday, October 2, for the last time before the election recess. In the weeks that follow, the members of parliament support their political parties in the campaign for the elections on October 29. The election recess lasts until October 29. In the two weeks after the elections, the Electoral Council is busy determining the results precisely and converting them into seat numbers. There are no parliamentary meetings during this time.Farewell to the old and the inauguration of the new HouseAfter the election recess, the House will only meet in its old composition on Tuesday, November 11.
