Preserving and Accelerating Sustainability of Monuments
The GRC trains professionals for the restoration sector and thus contributes to preserving over 34,000 Gelderland monuments for the future. The Sustainability & Innovation (S&I) knowledge network brings together professionals working on future-proof monument care. By sharing knowledge, organizing meetings, and now with this podcast, the S&I network contributes to accelerating sustainability within the monument sector.

Province of Gelderland Invests in Heritage
We share the desire of the Gelderland Restoration Center for the expert maintenance and sustainability of monuments. We want as many people as possible in Gelderland to enjoy heritage. Quality is important: craftsmanship and care belong to every restoration. Therefore, alongside several other partners, we support the Gelderland Restoration Center. Additionally, we actively invest in the preservation, strengthening, and experience of unique heritage. We do this by utilizing (characteristic) Gelderland heritage in spatial plans, stimulating restorations, repurposing and sustainability of monuments, and encouraging heritage participation.
Identity of Gelderland
Heritage is an important part of Gelderlands identity in every region because it reflects and strengthens the history, culture, and community feeling of the region. Heritage also contributes to the quality of the living environment and the connection between people. Together we make the identity of Gelderland visible and tangible.
