With this scheme, the province aims to strengthen design power and contribute to the careful development of Groningens heritage. Owners can apply for subsidies to engage experts for cultural-historical research, restoration advice, or to develop a repurposing plan.
The subsidy covers up to 80% of the costs for planning. The available budget is € 500,000. The application period is open until December 2025. Applications can be made starting October 16 via this page.
