Household consumption grows by 0.8 percent in December
In December 2025, household consumption increased by 0.8 percent compared to December 2024, for both goods and services.
In December 2025, households purchased 0.8 percent more goods and services than in December 2024, reports CBS. They bought both more goods and more services. In November, consumption grew by 0.9 percent. The consumption figures are volume figures. This means they have been adjusted for price changes. In addition, adjustments have also been made for changes in the composition of shopping days. The conditions for consumption were less favorable in January than in December.
