Inflation in February 2026 was 2.4 percent in the quick estimate, reports the Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS). This estimate is calculated based on incomplete source data. In January 2026, inflation was also 2.4 percent.

Inflation is measured monthly as the development of the consumer price index (CPI) compared to the same month in the previous year. The CPI also provides insight into price developments compared to the previous month. In the quick estimate, consumer prices rose by 1.0 percent in February compared to January.

The regular CPI figures for February will be published on March 10.
