The Authority for Housing Corporations (Aw) releases today the accountants protocol for housing corporations for the reporting year 2025. The protocol describes the audit activities that accountants must perform at corporations. This is important because the Aw uses the information and judgment of the accountant in its supervision.
The Aw updates the accountants protocol annually due to changes in regulations and data requests, findings from supervision, and comments from accountants organizations. In the accountants protocol 2025, no substantive changes have been made compared to the accountants protocol 2024. The Aw is investigating whether it is possible to establish a multi-year protocol in the future.
Publication in the State Gazette
The Aw makes the accountants protocol 2025 available in anticipation of treatment by the Ministry of Housing and Spatial Planning (VRO). This is with the consent of VRO and at the request of stakeholders. This allows corporations and accountants to start working with it. Publication in the state newspaper will take place in December.
