His Majesty the King will open the new factory hall of composite producer Prince Fibre in Kampen on Friday afternoon, March 20. Prince Fibre is a family business specialized since 1997 in producing and developing fiber-reinforced profiles made of carbon, fiberglass, or natural fibers. The profiles are used in various applications such as robot arms, thresholds, medical devices, drones, and components for the maritime sector.

After the plenary program and opening ceremony, the King will be given a tour of the new factory hall. He will receive an explanation of the innovative applications the company offers to make end products from other companies lighter, stronger, and more sustainable. The King will also view several examples of applications.

The visit will conclude with a conversation with founder Rinus Prins and the next generations working in the family business.

The current shareholders of Prince Fibre collaborate as a family business with Windesheim University of Applied Sciences to provide opportunities for the fourth generation in their business group. The family business lectorate supports new generations in developing their own talents and how these talents can add value to the family business.
