The explosion was reported to the police around 2:00 AM on the night of Tuesday, June 24 to Wednesday, June 25, after a loud bang and breaking glass were heard near a car garage on Wateringsestraat in The Hague. The building was severely damaged by the explosion and has been closed by the municipality for two weeks.

Suspects arrested

On Loosduinsekade, the first suspect was arrested that same night: a teenager from Rotterdam. On Tuesday, February 17, another young man from Rotterdam was arrested. He was arrested at a residence in Rotterdam.

More arrests may follow.
