The police received an emergency call from the enforcement officer around 5:15 PM. Upon arrival, we spoke with the enforcement officer and he was checked by ambulance personnel. The police initiated an investigation and reviewed surveillance footage. As a result, the suspect could later be arrested by colleagues from the Rapid Response Team in Alblasserdam. 

Violence against helpers

The police find aggression and violence against helpers unacceptable. Helpers have a responsible role in society and must be able to perform their duties without hindrance and with mutual respect. Aggression or violence, in any form, against helpers will not be tolerated.
