Two men arrested in ongoing investigation into large-scale import of narcotics

Several searches have been conducted in homes and business premises in Zaandam, Amsterdam, and Hilversum as part of the ongoing investigation.

Container interception

At the end of January, a container was intercepted in the Netherlands containing six hundred kilograms of gross cocaine. The container was presumably brought into the Netherlands from Colombia via Antwerp. The container and the cocaine have been seized. The two arrested suspects are among those suspected of this import. The investigation by the police unit in Noord-Holland continues unabated.
