Five men (36, 40, 41, 44, 56) and two women (25, 28) of Romanian and Dutch nationality residing in Eindhoven have been detained. They are in custody and are being questioned about their involvement. Investigation
In recent months, the police conducted extensive investigations following the discovery of tens of kilos of hard and soft drugs and a large quantity of chemicals earlier this year in Eindhoven. In July 2024, a property on Rooisestraat in Waalre was also searched, where multiple prohibited substances were found. The investigation led to several suspects who were allegedly involved in transporting illegal goods across Europe. The suspects have been arrested and are suspected of working in a criminal collaboration. This is a sustainable, structured group that commits crimes together.
The investigation continues unabated. The (residence) locations of the suspects are being searched for possible presence of illegal substances.
Report suspicious situations (anonymous)
Properties where drugs are stored, cut, or traded attract criminals and violence. Do you regularly see strange people coming and going at odd hours? Sometimes carrying large bags. Are there regularly changing people at the door at strange times? Are windows always darkened with curtains and is it unclear who lives in the house? Then it may be a drug house. If you have suspicions, report this to the police via 0900-8844. If you prefer to remain anonymous, tip via Meld Misdaad Anoniem at 0800-7000. You can also contact TCI, Team Criminal Intelligence, for a confidential conversation.
