The suspected shooter, a 68-year-old resident of Spaarndam, reported to the police station in Haarlem around 1:30 PM. He handed over a weapon, which was confiscated.
The victim was able to leave the hospital after treatment. He was interrogated at the station and filed a report.
Investigation shows the shooting incident stems from a long-standing neighbor conflict. The complainants home has been administratively closed by the mayor of Haarlemmermeer due to the safety of those involved and unrest in the neighborhood.
The woman was released after questioning. The two other suspects have been detained. The police continue their investigation.

The district officer will be present on Tuesday afternoon between 2:00 and 3:30 PM at the community center on Ringweg to answer questions from local residents.
