Just before 9:00 PM, a report came in about the robbery. A weapon was threatened, but no loot was taken. After a search in the area, officers arrived around 9:30 PM at Bergakker in Kapel Avezaath. The suspects were arrested there.
Other cases
Recently, there have been more robberies at gas stations in the area. On January 21, the same gas station was targeted. On Monday evening, February 9, an employee of another gas station on the same Nieuwe Tielseweg was a victim. On January 23, a gas station on Lanxmeersestraat in Culemborg was robbed. Whether there is a connection between these four cases is currently unclear. The investigation is ongoing, and we continue to ask people with information to come forward.
