Thanks to the name and address on the intercepted package, it quickly became clear who it was intended for. The Amsterdam police took over the case from customs and conducted further investigation. During a search of the recipients residence, officers found about 400 weapons, including pepper spray, brass knuckles, and stun guns. A 17-year-old boy from Amsterdam was arrested for illegal possession of weapons.
