At around 7:30 PM, officers noticed a suspicious situation at an ATM at Gelreplein in Venlo. After a series of strange actions at the ATM, the officers decided to check these men. After a short chase through the city center of Venlo, these individuals were stopped at Bisschop Lindanusstraat. It turned out the suspects were in possession of other peoples bank cards.
Shortly after, around 8:00 PM, the service center received a report from a victim who stated that fake officers had been at their door. The bank cards the suspects had were those of the reporter. Additionally, the suspect driver was driving without a valid license and was under the influence of drugs. The police are continuing their investigation.
