Witnesses reported around quarter to nine that there had been a threat with a firearm at a house on Gitaarstraat. The involved parties were likely still present both inside and outside the house. Alerted officers found two men outside the house matching the given description. They were immediately arrested. Since it could not be ruled out that there were still persons with weapons inside the house, this property was entered by a DSI unit. A flashbang grenade was used to temporarily disorient people. Inside the house, four more suspects were arrested.
Car
After the arrests, the house was searched. Various types of suspected drugs were found and seized. These items are still being investigated and tested. A car used by the suspects was also seized and is being further examined. So far, no firearm has been found.
