Renovation work in the Drechtsteden

Rijkswaterstaat is working on various renovation projects in the Drechtsteden in the coming years. In 2026, the Bridge over the Noord and the Papendrechtsebrug are on the program. In the webinar, we explain what we will do at these two bridges and why the work is necessary.

We also provide a preview of the renovation schedule for the Noordtunnel, Drechttunnel, and Verkeersbrug Dordrecht.

Disruptions in the Drechtsteden

To carry out the work, closures for all traffic are necessary. The Bridge over the Noord will be closed for sixteen consecutive days in February. The Papendrechtsebrug will be closed for nine months starting in July. This causes disruptions for traffic, especially during rush hour. What impact does this have on your travel?

Alternatives for travel

Together with employees of Zuid-Holland Bereikbaar and Qbuzz, we explain which travel alternatives are available so you can avoid traffic jams during the renovations. Zuid-Holland Bereikbaar explains how they can help companies remain accessible for employees, customers, and suppliers.
