What you can do at the festival

Do you have a game you are tired of? A book unread on the shelf? Or are you ready for a new outfit? At the festival, you can easily swap books, games, and clothes. You can also repair (small) devices with the skilled volunteers from the repair café. Have your phone checked, or make your own detergent. Repair your clothes and don’t forget to try the free snacks.

Why this festival?

Organizer Sanne Zuithof (junior policy officer Circular Economy): “We often have more stuff than we think. And we don’t always use everything consciously. With the festival, we want to show how easy and fun it is to swap, share, and repair things.” Why is this important? By using your belongings longer and swapping or sharing them, you don’t always have to buy something new. And that’s better for the environment. And your wallet, of course. Come by on Saturday, March 21!”

This festival is organized by the Municipality of Deventer and the Sustainability Center Deventer.
