Export grows by over 1 percent in January

The volume (working day adjusted) of goods exports was 1.1 percent larger in January than in January 2025, according to preliminary figures from Statistics Netherlands (CBS). Companies mainly exported more raw materials and textiles and clothing. However, exports of food and luxury goods and machines were lower. The volume of goods imports was 5.0 percent larger in January than in January 2025. Among other things, more raw materials, electrotechnical machines, transport equipment and machines were imported.
