On Wednesday, March 18, 2026, the municipal elections will take place. If you are unable to get to the polling station yourself due to a disability, we offer free transportation.

Are you unable to go to a polling station yourself? For example, because you have difficulty walking or use a wheelchair? Then you can request transportation to the polling station.

We cooperate with the transport service Automobiel. Automobiel provides rides on election day between 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM. The driver will pick you up, wait until you have finished voting, and bring you back home. This transportation is free of charge.

Registration

To register, you can send an email to verkiezingen@haarlem.nl. You can also call us at the phone number 14 023. 

When you register, we need the following information from you:

  • Your name
  • The address where the driver should pick you up
  • The time you want to be picked up
  • The polling station you want to go to
  • Your phone number

Registration is possible until Friday, March 13.
