About the app
The app playfully guides users through 3 levels covering working, living, and life in Maastricht. The app introduces students to some well-known Maastricht residents and teaches various basic words and phrases. The app is free to download for Android and Apple users in app stores.

Student City Implementation Program
The app was developed as part of the Student City Implementation Program 2022-2026. Alderman Johan Pas: “The program aims to connect students and the city. With this app, we want to contribute in an accessible way by introducing students to our city and customs.” The program aligns with the coalition agreement, emphasizing Maastricht as a city of connectedness.
Clear information
Currently, about 20 percent of Maastrichts inhabitants are students, more than half of whom are international and come from about 123 different countries. Clear information, in an accessible and approachable way, is essential for (international) students to feel at home. The app focuses mainly on practical integration through information about local customs, habits, and the Maastricht language. Previously, language lessons were made possible for students through the program.
