On March 4, 2026, the Royal Netherlands Army will conduct an exercise in and around Driel. Approximately 12 soldiers will participate in the training. Several military vehicles will be visible on the outskirts of Driel.
The exercise is part of training and preparation for deployment. Soldiers practice observation from observation posts. No shooting will take place and there is no danger to the surroundings. The Defense tries to minimize any inconvenience as much as possible.
