On the evening and night of Monday, March 30 and Tuesday, March 31, various works will take place on the Deltaweg (A256). The road will be closed in both directions between the A58 and the traffic lights near ’s-Heer Hendrikskinderen. Traffic will be diverted. Although we try to limit the inconvenience, the works may cause some disruption.
Works
Inspections have shown that the asphalt and expansion joints of the eastern viaduct (the viaduct over the railway) are in poor condition and need to be replaced. These works are scheduled for next autumn. To properly carry out the repairs, additional research is needed into the cause of the damage. Based on this, the repair plan can be coordinated.
In addition to these investigations, various other maintenance works will also be carried out, such as:
- Repairing and reinstalling the guardrail
- Mowing and dredging works
- Repairing asphalt and markings
- Cleaning works
Planning and detour routes
The works will take place on the evening and night of Monday, March 30 to Tuesday, March 31 and from Tuesday, March 31 to Wednesday, April 1. The works start at 8:00 PM and last until 6:00 AM.
The road between the A58 and the traffic lights near ’s-Heer Hendrikskinderendijk is closed in both directions. Traffic will be diverted via the A58, N664 or Nansenbaan.
