In February, after adjustment for court days, 311 companies were declared bankrupt, reports the Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS). That is 53 fewer bankruptcies than in the same period a year earlier, a decrease of 15 percent. Compared to January, the number of bankruptcies increased by 11 percent.

Subsequently, the number of bankruptcies per 100 thousand companies rose again until 2024. Then the bankruptcy rate stabilized until autumn 2024. Since then, the trend has been slightly declining.
