The robbery was reported to the police around 7:00 PM. The suspect entered the shop with a stabbing weapon and demanded money under threat of this weapon. He spoke English with an accent and threatened not only staff but also a customer. Shop staff chased the suspect out of the store. The man reportedly walked from the fish shop on Oosterheemplein towards the Westerschelde and did not take anything.
Description
The suspect is a man with a light skin tone, approximately 1.80 meters tall. He had a grey beard and a slender build and walked slightly hunched forward. The man wore a dark blue sweater with the hood over his head, grey sweatpants, and blue shoes (loafers) with white soles.
