This concerns a 20-year-old man without a fixed address. The man had been under surveillance for some time and was tracked down and arrested on Saturday thanks to good detective work led by the Public Prosecution Service. In mid-December, a 19-year-old resident of Den Bosch was already arrested in this case. This man was detained for some time but was released by the judge pending the investigation. He remains a suspect.

Gunshots
In the early morning of that Sunday, residents of Weymouthstraat in ‘s-Hertogenbosch were startled by several loud bangs. These bangs turned out to be gunshots from a firearm. No one was injured. However, a parked car was hit by multiple bullets. On the same day, a car was shot at on Graafseweg in Den Bosch, where an occupant was hit and taken to the hospital with a gunshot wound.

The detectives are investigating both incidents and consider a connection. The exact role of the currently and previously arrested suspect is being examined.
