Around 2:15 AM, residents of Opheusdenhof called the Operational Center distressed because their home had just been shot at. When officers arrived, they assisted the residents and found that multiple shots had been fired at their home and that of their neighbors. At the time of the shooting, people were present in both homes. Fortunately, no one was injured, but it could have been otherwise. The suspect fled after the shooting. Officers searched the area but found no one. Forensic Investigation staff arrived and conducted research in and around the homes, securing evidence. The police have launched an investigation.
