Shortly after the incident, alert neighborhood residents apprehended the suspect – a 16-year-old boy from Huizen – and handed him over to the police. He is in custody for investigation and questioning. After the incident, the police conducted an on-site investigation and a neighborhood inquiry.
At the same house, an explosion also occurred on February 2, 2026. The detective department is investigating both incidents.
