To make the transition from a grey business park to a green-blue work landscape easier, entrepreneurs and business parks can now apply for the Groenstart voucher.

Grey business parks are vulnerable to extreme weather. Stone and asphalt retain heat, water drains less easily, and during drought the subsoil is more easily damaged. A future-proof site with smart water management and more greenery provides cooling during heat, less water nuisance after heavy showers, and more resilience in dry periods. Moreover, it yields more than just climate benefits: a healthier, more attractive working environment where people like to work and stay.

What is the Groenstart voucher?

To make the transition from a grey business park to a green-blue work landscape easier, the Groenstart voucher scheme has been started. This is intended as a financial impulse for entrepreneurs or park managers to, for example, involve experts in design, cooperation, feasibility, and investment plans. The scheme is offered through a collaboration between the Province of North Brabant and Werklandschappen van de Toekomst.

Who is the scheme for?

The Groenstart voucher is intended for an organized group of entrepreneurs on one business park. In Brabant, applications can be submitted by:

  • an entrepreneurs association
  • an entrepreneurs foundation
  • at least 3 cooperating entrepreneurs

Municipalities in Brabant cannot apply. However, they can of course think along and help organize. View all conditions in the portal

When can you apply?

The application portal is open from February 26 until October 15, 2026.
