His Majesty the King held telephone contact on Monday evening, January 26, with the governor of Aruba, His Excellency J.A. Boekhoudt, on Tuesday evening, January 27, with the authority of Bonaire, His Excellency J.R.E. Soliano, and this afternoon, January 30, with the governor of Curaçao, His Excellency Mr. M.J. de Kort.

The King regularly speaks with authorities from the Caribbean part of the Kingdom to stay informed. This time, the conversations focused on the consequences on the islands of the events in nearby Venezuela.
