NWO funds interdisciplinary research on biodiversity and transformative change with 3.2 million euros. The European partnership Biodiversa+ conducted this call named Biodiversity and Transformative Change (BiodivTransform).
Restoring biodiversity is an important objective of the European Union. To address the problem of biodiversity loss, among other initiatives, the Biodiversa+ program was started. This fourth call of the partnership focused on cross-border research to understand the interactions and interconnections between the global crises of biodiversity loss, climate change, and pollution. It also addressed identifying, analyzing, and understanding transformation processes that protect biodiversity and can reduce threats.
About this call
